MaacVerify, Inc. is an independent AI performance verification and certification company. We assess AI deployments inside client environments in regulated sectors (healthcare, financial services, legal) using the MAAC framework, a nine-dimension psychometric instrument validated through doctoral research in Industrial and Systems Engineering. We do not build, sell, or train AI systems, and we do not advise on governance, compliance, or remediation. We measure AI performance and issue certification decisions. Independence is the product. The company is pre-revenue and founder-led, with the methodology, research base, intellectual property, and platform in place. This is a founding team position: high ownership, high accountability, compensated in founding equity under the structure described below. The VP of Revenue & Strategic Partnerships is the founding revenue leader. You own the enterprise pipeline, the sales motion, and the partnership channels that make MaacVerify the default independent assessment standard for regulated AI deployments. Your first deliverables are clear: validate the Ideal Customer Profile, close the first design partners into paid engagements, and build the partnership channel with advisory firms, systems integrators, and industry associations. This role currently holds one of the five founding distribution pool seats.
What you will do
- Enterprise sales motion. Build and run the end-to-end sales process for regulated-enterprise buyers: CCOs, General Counsel, CIOs, and AI risk leaders at healthcare, financial services, and legal organizations.
- Pipeline generation. Design the outbound and inbound playbook, including account targeting, messaging, events, and executive relationships that produce qualified opportunities.
- Design partner conversion. Convert active design partners into paid engagements by tying MAAC assessment outcomes to their regulatory exposure and board-level AI risk questions.
- Strategic partnerships. Build a partner channel with consulting firms, systems integrators, law firms, and industry associations that expands reach without compromising independence.
- Pricing and packaging. Develop engagement pricing, scoping models, and commercial terms aligned with the phased MAAC methodology and customer value.
- Revenue forecasting. Own the forecast, pipeline hygiene, and deal-review discipline from the first opportunity onward.
- Founding team collaboration. Work directly with the CEO, General Counsel, and Head of Quality and Certification Operations to ensure commercial promises match delivery capability and independence constraints.
- Market intelligence. Feed buyer pain points, competitive positioning, and sector-specific urgency back into product, methodology, and marketing.
What we are looking for
- Enterprise sales track record. 7+ years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrable record of closing six-figure-plus contracts into regulated enterprises.
- Regulated-sector fluency. Direct experience selling into healthcare, financial services, legal, or a similarly regulated vertical where procurement, legal review, and compliance stakeholders are part of the buying committee.
- Founding-stage temperament. Comfort building the playbook, not just executing one. You have sold with minimal collateral, unclear category awareness, and a founder-led team.
- Partnership network. Existing relationships with consulting firms, systems integrators, law firms, or industry associations that serve regulated enterprises.
- Complex sales process expertise. Experience managing multi-stakeholder deals with security review, legal review, procurement, and executive sponsorship.
- Integrity under pressure. The sales motion must never compromise independence. You can articulate why an assessor must not also advise or remediate.
- This is a founding equity position. Candidates must be comfortable in an equity-forward, pre-revenue environment with a defined conversion path to salary.
Nice to have
- Experience selling trust, risk, or assurance services (audit, certification, compliance, cyber risk, or legal tech).
- Existing C-level relationships at healthcare systems, insurers, banks, asset managers, or large law firms.
- Prior experience at a category-creating company where education-based selling was required.
Compensation
Founding roles are equity-compensated during launch, with a contractual path to salary: a defined revenue trigger converts each role to a market-anchored base salary with benefits, plus a milestone equity grant that vests at conversion. Equity-first now, salaried later, on documented terms rather than promises.
